We have a range of events and activities for babies and children and also for teenagers.

PARENTING COURSE SEPTEMBER 2010
Hi, I'm Lucy. Oh, the joys, trials and exhaustion of parenthood!! I've been a mum now for 7 years and have found it the most rewarding and most difficult thing I've ever done. Amy, 7, Ben 4 and Anna, 2 keep Jamie and I on our toes. We thought it would be great to get together and see if we could be better parents. In researching material to choose a course I've already been so helped and encouraged. So here's the plan: We'll follow a "Family Caring Trust" course, starting with "Noughts to Sixes". It's a practical, skill based course that has been used by over half a million people including Barnardos, Sure Start and Health Visitors. It’s an 8 week course at Holy Spirit church, Crawcrook on Thursday evenings. If you can't find a babysitter, we might be able to find you one of the Church's CRB checked kids workers. It's recommended that mum and dad come together but of course just one is welcome too. You don't have to have any faith but there is a 5 minute "spiritual" bit each week. There are only 12 places and 6 are taken already so be quick!!
