APPOINTMENT OF PART-TIME PARISH CHILDREN AND YOUTH WORKER
Average of 15 hours per week
To develop existing, church based provision for children and youth within:
- Friday evening Rock Solid (8 to 12 years)
- Friday evening Solid Rock (teenagers up to 16 years)
- Our local community, schools and deanery
- Sunday Morning Church
If you are able and willing to:
- Provide a leadership and training role
- Meet the demands that increased numbers of participants brings
- Establish young disciples whose vigour and openness to God speaks within the church and community
- Reach out to young people in the wider community in a variety of different ways
- Be a team player working in co-operation with others towards our Parish vision.
We offer:
- 12 months minimum fixed term contract at £9.50 per hour, averaging 15 hrs per week
- Support from a committed and dedicated team of volunteers
- Opportunities to further develop new work and foster a growing children’s ministry
