Home Groups
"Joining a Home Group really helped me get to know people in our church. It's a place of trust and laughter . We share our lives and I thank God for a place where we can sing, pray, share God's word and look out for each other."
Purpose
At Greenside Parish we have a network of Home Groups within our the church. These are places where we can talk with others about our faith, ask those questions we puzzle over, explore the Bible and grow in friendship and support within a group of other church members.
We have several Home Groups that meet on different days and at different places. If you would like to try a group, you would be given a warm welcome. Each Home Group has its own unique flavour, yet all have the same purposes which are to:
- Provide a safe and welcoming home where we can grow in our faith
- Put into practice our study of the Bible by applying it to our lives
- Encourage friendship and caring support

Leaders
Each Home Group is led by experienced leaders. They are responsible for overseeing their group and ensuring that it is led in a way that glorifies God. We are very blessed to have both leaders and members with servant-hearts, many of whom are actively involved in various ministries in Greenside Parish.
